Ezio Auditore Da Firenze

Peeeeeooople! In this post I want to talk about this guy. Maybe you (especially the boys of the class) know about him, because is a character that appears in a videogames saga: Assassin’s Creed COR, and more specifically, in the second and third part. And why do I know this assassin that goes for Italy killing people? And why do I know that without having the Play Station 3? Because my boyfriend has got it, and sometimes when I went to his house he was playing and…

I played too.

Although is a game for + 18, the plot of the history is excellent: Ezio Auditore lives in Florencia, where he is taking a good life. One day his family is betrayed, and since this moment, he takes the work of his father: be a murderer. After a training with his uncle Mario, in Monteriggioni, he starts the revenge against all the people guilty of the betray of his family (which caused the death of his father and his two brothers). As the game progresses, Ezio will understand why his father was an Assassin, and what his work on Italy was.

Apart form the story, I devote this entry to Ezio because I think is very, very, very sexy, cute, and uah…He fights against all his enemies with his own style COR On the photo you can see Ezio, don't you think like me? It’s true that we can’t see all his face but… I like mystery :D

About the game… it’s important to say that because of its success, as I said before, there are some books, manuscripts, cards, and a serial, and the most important thing… this 15^th of November will be the last part of the game: Assassin’s Creed Revelations, where, finally, the truth will be known!

Self-evaluation :$

Lourdes says that this term oral presentations have been a disaster! Well, I don't think it so...I think that this term I have made a good rehearsal, the oral presentation have been more large. I remember Lourdes' words: Your oral presentation is too short, you will be penalized! So now I have made a larger powerpoint and a larger exposition. Problems? A lot...

First of all, I get very nervous when Quim was late... "What a mess!" I thought; And then he told me: Clara...I don't know anything...WHAT!? GOD, I have been working a lot for this oral and you had promised me to study...And then I thought: It is my destiny, my orals will never be good...But I had been studing, and I wanted to show it, and I made all I can...But I felt so nervous...And it was my fail...

Now I have understood HOW have I to make an oral presentation: long, easy, not boring, alone, and without nervous!! So next year, and now IT'S TRUE (I HOPE IT SO), I will make...

THE BEST ORAL EXPOSITION OF MY LIFE!

Fly me to the moon...

Oh! What a notice! Another moon like the Moon! You have to be a little bit creative to imaginate another moon like our Moon, because, according to this notice, if there is another planet hosting a moon with the same proportions of Earth's, there will be another planet that will be hospitable to life!

But, stop, wait a moment, and think it over.

What would you do, I there was a planet like the Earth? Would you go there? How? And could other people like you go there too? And if in that planet was a different type of life? Would you conquer it?

Sometimes I've thought that maybe there is another Clara like me, not physically like me, but a person who thinks like me. We are 6.000 millions of people on the world! Why not another Clara? And now, if you imagine this, can you imagine another Clara in other planet? Uoooooo!!!

Well...another Clara maybe is too much difficult, but I think that it is possible to find another planet like Earth.

But please, don't be silly, first, try to understand our world and what is happening to it, and then, you can think to go further.

Some things about me...

Sometimes I can be so difficult to understand...Maybe for all these facts. I don't know why but:

-When I get off the car, I have to open the door totally. If I don't have enough space to open it, I get angry.

-When I sit down in class, I always cross my legs. I want to avoid it, because I will have some problems with my blood's circulation if I sit on this way.

-I love different types of sound like pieces of glass crashing, or when I bring a glass of sparkling water closer to my ear, and I can hear some bubbles exploding. Pop, plop, pop...

-I love to see the colors of a new cash of crayons. It seems that you cou

ld eat them; and I love to collect blue things, but not any blue, MY BLUE ♥

- I like bright things, I love them. When I see something shining, I' ve to stop and stare it for a long time :D

-I love the snails, I'm always catching and watching them...

-When I hear a louder sound, I've to scream, I don't know. I think that I do it because the louder sounds bother me.

-I HATE when somebody wakes me up! ALWAYS! If you don't want to die, don't wake me up :)

A final reflection

I've found this questionary in 1st Batxillerat Space, and I want to do it.

-Observing your SPACE, can you see an improvement on your level of English since September 2010? Where, for example?

I can see some things that I've learnt this year: phrasal verbs, conditionals, new vocabulary...These thing are now in my blog, so I' ve improved a lot. When I started the blog, I used to use short sentences, and now I can use a lot of adverbs and new contractions, for example.

-Which activity best shows your level of English? I think that blog and oral exams are the best to show our level of English.

-Which activities were really Useful for you to improve your English? Why?I think that all the activities help you to improve your English. But you can be more autonomous with your blog and, of course, speaking. Another activity were the books I' ve read, they were in original English, so I've learnt a lot with them.

-Which activities did you not find useful to learn English? Why not? I can't find anything useless!

-Which activities did you enjoy doing and would like to do again next year? I want to read more stories in original English. I've learnt a lot of vocabulary :D And in my opinion, we should talk more in English between us. Not to make more oral exposition, because one talk while the rest listens, and that's all. We need to talk about a topic we've chosen, make questions,... It's only an opinion! Don't judge me ♥

Catalonia today

Hi! I have founded an article about the Escola d' Hosteleria in Girona, for a close up on Catalan cuisine. One of the plates that they make is a dessert: peach pie!

They explain you the steps you have to follow to make the pie, and a little description:

"The dessert is a colorfull peach pie. Shortcrust pastry lines the dish. A raw frangipane sauce forms the filling. After a few minutes in the oven, it is covered with carefully arranged thinly sliced peaches.

( And blablabla...They think that they are talking with Ferran Adrià, or someone else like him. Please!! It's only a PEACH PIE! A pie with peach!

But if they explain me how it is like this, I can learn more vocabulary, it's the only advantage I see on it. So, continue: )

Is true that I love Catalonia's food, botifarres, canelons, mongetes blanques, fesols...There are a lot of plates that I like, but they don't have to be a Bulli's dish, I prefer un bon pà amb tomàquet :D

When I was little, I saw "The triplets", and there was a song I remember: fesolets. Sometimes I still singing it. It's so cute!

Sorry, I want to come back to the beggining of this post: the peach pie: I don't like peaches, so If I had to make a pie, I would change peaches for apples. Lupe, Èric's mother, is always making this type of desserts, and I love her apple pie...

In my opinion, peaches are too much sweet!!

We have almost learnt to respect our world

Nowadays we have a lot of facts that can affect aou environment, but if you think it over, who has produced all these facts? We know that a lot of these facts are related more and more to Mankind: pollution, waste, chemicals,...But can we change our mind? Is it possible to fight against the consequences of our acts?

We have evoluted. Now we are more clever. Mainly we should use our intelligence to act more responsibly. But, in my opinion, if we are don't use our abilities to do it, our intellingence is not important.

Nowadays we think that we can spend our money, because we have everything we need. And it is true, we are very lucky and we don't have to worry about any

thing. But we are very selfish!

Perhaps we can change our mind. I REALLY HOPE SO. We need to change our mind if we want to stay here

for a l o n g t i m e . . .

We must learn that money is not the most important thing in this world.

But now, not tomorrow.

Tomorrow could be too late...

Wellcome to Patricia's Show - podcast

Dance, dance...

I'm a little bit stressed! Not only for my final exams, it's for my final dance! Every summer, we make a festival to say goodbye to another year of dance training! This year I have to make two dances: First I have to dance with my "classmates" - I can't say classmates at all, because I make my trainings alone, and then we try to make a dance together -: It is a waltz, and it is difficult to coordinate together. And the other one is a Paquita Variation, and I've to wear a violet tutu... and with points! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Well, my mother has bought a bar to make some exercises and to train more and more at home, I HOPE it goes right, please!

And finally, I leave you an image of me -well, my legs... -, training out of my ballet classes, and my cat, which is watching something I don't know...maybe my backside!

So, you have to wish me good luck, and if you want, you can come to see us dancing :D

My easter holidays.

Sometimes, my holidays are more stressfull than my daily routine...

Next week I have to make a lot of things. I want to tell you my "timetable"

First, this Saturday I'm going with my dad all day. I love to stay with him, and if it's sunny, we'll go out and lunch together. On saturday night, Èric wants to watch Barça-Madrid on TV. I don't want to watch it but all for love, all for love...Any way, it COULD BE funny.

Sunday, Èric and me will go to Barcelona by train and after sleeping there, we are going to Port Aventura all Monday! It's very expensive, because we have to pay all the travel and the tickets to go into the amusement park...

We are sleeping in Barcelona another night and we are coming back here after shopping around Barcelona.

On wednesday, or thursday (I don't know it exactly), we are thinking about visiting the Basque country because my brother is living there, and I want to visit him. During this week, Basque country is full of colour, music and shows!!

So this is my plan for this week! I'll explain you more about it in my next post!

Slumdog millionaire

One week ago I saw this film, Slumdog Millionaire.

Jamal is a participant in the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. He had already earned 10,000,000 rupees and reached the final question, for twenty million rupees, which would answer the next day. Obeying the orders of Prem Kumar, the police suspect that Jamal had cheated because the other possibilities (which had a lot of luck) seemed unlikely.

Jamal explained that, he knew the answers to the questions by chance, because of what had happened in his life. The memories include scenes about how she got the autograph of Bachchan, the death of his mother during an act of violence against Muslims...

It was a really good film, so, if you haven't seen it, you must do it! 'Cause it is full of love and intrigue.
The end of the film is amazing, but I don't want to explain it, 'cause I want that you watch the film!

My oral presentation :)

Hello! I leave here my oral presentation! What have I to say this time? Well, I think that this term I’ve made good presentation, I felt very secure, ‘cause I had studied my part of the oral presentation. But I know that it was too short! But that's the only problem I had.

So, the third term, I'll make a longer presentation, and if it's possible, I want to make it alone. 'Cause I cannot understand WHY have I to make all the work if we are two! I have work a lot, this time and I'm proud of it. You can penalize me, I don't care anyway, 'cause I know that I have worked and prepared my oral presentation.So, next term I'll make the best oral presentation I've made in English, you know?No, really, I kow that I can make it perfect, so why not? But as we say here: millor sol que mal acompanyat...And sorry, Quim is one of my best friends, but I am not the servant of anybody when it is about my note.

Arctic Fox :D

Helloo! I've found this article on the website of BBC about Arctic Foxes, and I' ve fallen in love with them. I think they are so cute! Do you?

The first time I saw this picture I thought: Ooh! Is a samoyedo! (samoyedo is a Russian dog, white too, they are so lovely, and they are my favourite breed) But no, it was a fox.I think that they are so amazing 'cause they are prepared to be below -50 degrees! brrrr...That's cold! If someday I can see one Arctic fox I would like to touch its fur, 'cause it has to be so soft! The first time I saw a fox, was three months ago more or less, and it was dead, near the road. But anyway it was so beautiful...I hope the next time Ive to see a fox, It will be with its young foxes sleeping, for example :)I hope someday you can see one Arctic fox and make a photo to give me!!

Dear Principal,
I am one of the students of 1st Batxillerat of this center.
I want to talk about what things I like and do not like about this High School.

First, I have to say that I am proud of this center. The teachers are nice, they make a really good job here. Classmates are pleasant too. We have time to meet out of the school after classes.
Apart from studying, we laugh a lot, we have a big playground where we can stay at breakfast time, and it is really great to think about something different than books, history or something else related with our studies.

But I have to say that sometimes this center is a little bit cold without color and life. Yes, the playground is big, but poor too, because there is no grass and the trees are small.
I remember the days after the snowfall. A lot of grass grew in the playground! It was very beautiful.

I think we need something warmer, because we spend a lot of time in the center, and we need to be more comfortable.

News - Black Swan

Hi!! I've found this notice about Black Swan, the new film of Darren Aronofsky! I've summarized it and I've given my opinion about it!

The erotically charged and intensely dark Black Swan is sure to ruffle feathers amongst Natalie Portman fans.

The 29-year-old performed most of the dancing in the movie herself, having trained for a year before filming started. She also lost 9kg from her already slender frame.

"I don't think I expected how hard it was going to be."

Once shooting started, the pace got more in

tense. Despite several injuries, including a dislocated rib, there was no time for Portman to recover.

In my opinion, I think that sometimes is good to be strong, and to look forward, 'cause sometimes you can't imagine the wonders you can find if you fight truly. Such Portman, who still making the film with a really injury.

"It's good to understand what real ballet dancers have to go through," she explains.

"I learned how much I could do. I think of myself as someone who seeks pleasure and who doesn't like pain".

When I'm dancing, sometimes I feel insecure, because I know that I run the risk to be injured or somethin else, and for me is very important to stay healthy, because I need to dance, all the time. If I become injured, it would be like to cut the wings to a bird.

I'm not a person who likes pain either. Somebody can say: "Eh, maybe you don't feel pain when you are on pointe?!" YES! It hurts a lot...But I don't care this pain, I'm talking about the pain that you feel when you can't make your dreams come true!

She tells of obsessive athletes who strive for perfection to the detriment of their physical health and mental well-being.

Jajaja...It's true, sometimes we can be obstinate, and we want to make all perfect, and it can be damaging for us, because we work, and work, and work...And we became blind, and more obstinate. So, when you want to make something right, don't be under stress, as we say: a poc a poc, i bona lletra.

With most of the characters portrayed as extremely competitive and sometimes brutal, Black Swan does not show the art of ballet in a particularly good light.

I love it, more than anything in the world.

Oral presentation - evaluations

MERIEM AND AURA - JAPAN


-In Japan, exist a kimono to wear only in winter, and another (made of finer fabric, I suppose) to wear in summer! These suits are so cute, sometimes I would like to buy one and wear it. It has to be really cool.

-In all the festivals in Japan, you can see a lot of colour and details. I think that in Japan, they are more attentive to the details of special occasions. I think that people there can be so sweet, but I don't know it, I' ve never been there.


-I don't know exactly how is Japan food, but Meriem and Aura brought us some mochis and they were delicious!! If all the food in Japan tastes like the mochis, I want to live there! (except the sushi...raw fish...)


Meriem: She was very nervous, but she had made a good rehearsal, so she made a good oral exposition. She has to control herself, and be calmer, that's all!


Aura: Aura was calmer than meriem, but she was reading, not all the time, but it seemed like she didn't prepare it very well. But she was great! Good job, Meriem and Aura :D


MANEL CANSADO - UNITED STATES

-United States has 49 states and is the third biggest country in the world.
Icouldn't imagine that i was possible! 49 states is a big number of countries, and villages and people!

-You can practise a lot of sports in Miami, 'cause the weather there is nice all the year. I would like go here to see all the sports you can practise.

-Some famous cities of USA can be Washington, Orlando, New Yourk, Las Vegas. I has to be interesting to go there and watch all the cities, but I don't like the cities, I prefer live in a village near the sea or near the mountains, because it is calmer than the cities. So I would like to go there only for shopping, not for living.

Manel: He was nervous, and the powerpoint had some spelling mistakes that he could correct. So, he has to prepare it more, and then he'll have a good mark ;)



DOMINIK BLOCH - UNITED KINGDOM

-The food in UK i more expensive than clothes! Hurry up! Let's go shopping pleeaase! But we have to take a sandwich, 'cause I don't want to pay a lot...

-UK has a lot of famous musics like Queen (I love them!), Rolling Stones, Beatles (Paul Mcartney, please marry me!)

-There are sports like football, rugby, tennis... I don't like these sports, 'cause I have a little problem with all the balls...They try to kill me! When I'm playing football, for example, I know that I'll finish the match with my nose bleeding...It's like the Murphy's Law, but only with the balls.

Dominik: You've make it very well! He has got a very good accent, so lovely jiji! One of the best presentations I've seen :)



ARIADNA AND DIANA - AUSTRALIA

-The biggest part of Australia is dessert. What a surprise! I thought that it was jungle or something else, but not dessert! I cannot imagine a Koala in the middle of a dessert, you know...

-There are a lot of different animals, like marsupials, koalas. I want to go there and see all its fauna.

-You can visit Sydney Opera house, it has to be impressionant to sing or dance there...ooh...I love it!

Diana: She has read all the time! It's not fair! And sometimes if you read a lot, the classmates feel bored!

Ariadna: She has read too...So they have to prepare it more!


JUAN CARLOS AND PAUL - USA

I don't want to make a evaluation of this presentation, 'cause I didn't understand a lot...It was very boring. Even though they had another chance, they didn't make a good presentation, so...If they don't work, I don't want to work for them...


RODRI - CANADA

-Vancouver is one of the most beautiful city in Canada. I've never been there, so I don't know how is it!

-Its national sport is Hockey, It has to be difficult, 'cause you have to be fast and attentive.

-Some places you can visit are: Toronto, Niagara falls, Otawa. I would like go to Niagara falls, it should be really impresionant!

Rodri: He has read a little bit, but he has made a good presentation at all! ;)

My make-up case II

Hi!! This is my second makeup case, in this one, I put all my brushes, tweezers... If I put my eyeshadows with my brushes in the same case, then my brushes are broken, smashed or dirty.

1. It is my eyelash brush, so I use it to eliminate the excess of mascara. I want to tell you a secret: If you brush your eyelashes with some olive oil once a week, your eyelashes will be longer and stronger!

2. It is like a brush to apply the eyeshadow, but it is an sponge. It is the least precise, so I use it to blur the eyeshadow.

3, 4, 5, 6. These are my eyeshadow brushes. The smaller is to be more exact, and I use the bigger ones to apply some shadows.

7. Ahhhh!! These are tweezers! I always lose them...

8, 9, 11. These ones are my brushes to apply my compact powder foundation (you can see it in my post "My make-up case I", in FASHION label) I use the biggest to apply all the powder, and the smallest to apply the final touches :D

10. It is my other brush. The difference between this one and the other brushes is that this one ,as you can see, is in diagonal, because it is used to apply the blusher.

12. It is my sharpener, only a sharpener, nothing else.
